As part of a national partnership with Meals on Wheels America, Subaru of America, Inc. and its retailers will donate a minimum of $300 to charity, like Meals on Wheels, for every new vehicle leased or sold from November 16, 2023, to January 2, 2024. Since the Subaru Share the Love Event began in 2008, Subaru and its participating retailers have donated more than 4.3 million meals and helped provide friendly visits to seniors being served by local Meals on Wheels programs across the country. Last week, Spectrum Community Services took home the award for Non-Profit of the Year at the annual #LivBizAwards sponsored by the Livermore Valley Chamber. The Chamber said Spectrum, which provides financial and other support services for low-income families and seniors, demonstrates a “prevalent presence” in the community, is innovative, and builds relationships with the Livermore business community. Spectrum's Meals on Wheels program manager, Carrie Oldes, also graduated from the Livermore Valley Chamber's 2023 Leadership class.
Join Spectrum Community Services for a fundraising event. Our Twilight Tasting will be on Thursday, September 21, 2023 anytime between 4:30-8:00pm @ Page Mill Winery in Livermore. Our goal is to have fun, enjoy some amazing local wine and raise crucial funds to enhance the quality of life for low-income families & seniors living in Alameda County. Tasting fee is $15 per person and can be purchased at the venue when you arrive. There are NO ADVANCE SALES. Page Mill Winery will donate $10 of each tasting fee as well as 10% of proceeds from sales to Spectrum.
