General Description
The Fall Prevention Program Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Spectrum’s Fall Prevention Program (FP). The program offers evidence-based senior injury prevention programs for older adults, 60 years and better. The Program Manager is responsible for hiring and training staff, interns, and volunteers; budget management; program events and fundraising; managing grants and reports, overseeing enrollment and data management. Client interaction, community relations and customer service are key components of this position.

Primary Responsibilities
Fall Prevention Management
- Establish and maintain coordinated Fall Prevention Program plans with approved, evidence-based programing
- Conduct evidence-based Fall Prevention fitness classes and workshops for the community
- Manage program registration, class rosters, and participant assessments
- Counsel participants following falls, identify causes, and document fall information
- Maintain document confidentiality and use specified databases for data management
- Plan and implement quarterly in-service meetings, creating educational resources
- Continuously assess and evaluate fall prevention services to address changing needs
- Deliver ongoing fall prevention education to clients
- Ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality program processes
- Develop and implement policies and procedures
- Provide training and support to staff and volunteers
- Recruit, screen, train, retain, and appreciate volunteers
- Maintain an inventory of Fall Prevention equipment
- Collaborate with the Spectrum Energy Department to offer Home Modifications
Project Compliance & Fundraising
- Plan and coordinate program classes and activities with partner sites to meet contract obligations
- Implement and maintain internal management information, monitoring, and evaluation systems
- Prepare and submit reports requested by the Area Agency on Aging and all other funding sources
- Collaborate with administration on proposals, grant requests, contracts, and amendments
- Collaborate with the CFO and Executive Director to create the annual FP budget
- Collaborate with the Development Director for grant applications and required reports to funders
Communications & Public Relations
- Disseminate information through print, electronic media, newsletters, and public appearances
- Represent agency programs at client and public events like outreach, health fairs, fundraisers, community groups, and partner sites
- Engage in advisory committee meetings with Alameda County Senior Injury Prevention Partnership and relevant county, city, and state organizations
Supervisory Duties
- Manage personnel, including hiring, support, training, discipline, and termination (with Executive Director and Director of People and Culture approval)
- Handle routine accounting/personnel tasks like time sheets, travel expenses, and vacation requests
- Perform regular performance evaluations for program staff
- Certify staff and volunteers as instructors for evidence-based programs
- Foster a culture of teamwork and commitment to quality
- Perform other duties as assigned

We Need Someone Who Has:
- Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), Nursing or related field, with emphasis on Older Adults or 5+ years of relevant experience
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or American Council on Exercise (ACE) certification
- Experience in conducting group exercise or physical therapy sessions
- Management and supervisory experience, including hiring, training, discipline, and mentoring
- Proficiency in computer use, including Internet, Google Workspace, and social media
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certifications (obtained within two months and maintained)

General Description
The Senior Services Program Assistant plays a vital role in providing crucial administrative support for the Senior Services Programs, including Senior Meals, Fall Prevention, Meals on Wheels, and Connect. The role encompasses various tasks, such as customer service, data entry, form and flier design, copying, mailing, and overall program support. Primary Responsibilities
- Collect, input, and report Senior Services data

- Proofread documents, make copies, and assist in event planning

The Administrative & Development Associate will support the organization in multiple roles of office manager, executive assistant, and development team member. General Description
The Senior Meals Program Manager has the responsibility of directing and supervising the day-to-day management and administrative functions of Spectrum's Title Ill-CI Nutrition Program (Congregate Meal Program), and Non-Title III-C Catered Meals in a timely, cost efficient manner while ensuring contract compliance with funding sources. Responsible for the overall planning of quality services provided by the kitchen management and staff.
Primary Responsibilities
Nutrition Management
- Establish and maintain plans and procedures for the development and implementation of a comprehensive and coordinated nutrition program for the elderly (to include congregate information and referral, and addressing the general needs of the clients).
- Plan and implement the quarterly In-Service meeting for food preparation staff, Site Coordinators, Delivery Drivers, and volunteers. Develop and compile in-service education resource materials.
- Participate in the on-going assessment and evaluation of the food service and nutrition education components to meet changing needs and service priorities as necessary
- Develop recipes and plan menus for congregate meals, and Non-Title Ill Catered Meals.
- Implement the nutrition education component of the program for congregate clients.
Kitchen Management & Meal Delivery
- Responsible for the efficient, safe and high quality processes of our production kitchen
- Develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures (include H.A.C.C.P. requirements).
- Provide training and technical assistance to meal site staff.
- Responsible for purchasing capital equipment for kitchen
Project Compliance & Fundraising
- In conjunction with site coordinators, plan and coordinate program activities with other center activities.
- Implement and maintain internal management information, monitoring, and evaluation systems as required by administration and funding sources.
- Function as a liaison with appropriate agencies to mobilize available resources to the fullest extent possible in support of senior nutrition and other senior programs.
