Spectrum Community Services is thrilled to invite you to our 2019 Second Annual Feed The Need Throwdown in the Park fundraising event on Thursday, September 5th, at 6:00pm at the Amador Rec Center, at 4455 Black Ave in Pleasanton.

  • Cheer on local organizations as they compete in the Feed The Need Throwdown bagged lunch-making competition!
  • Delicious food & drink as we picnic in the Park!
  • Enter for a chance to win awesome Raffle prizes!
  • Meet Stomper, the A's mascot!

 

Help us increase awareness and raise funds for our Meals on Wheels and Congregate Meals programs, which provide nutritious meals, socialization, and wellness and safety checks to Alameda County seniors.

All proceeds will benefit Spectrum's Senior Nutrition programs.

 

*We would love to have you join us in serving our homebound senior clients after the celebration. You can sign up to go on a ride-along to deliver a few meals and smiles, or help serve lunch at one of our partner sites throughout Alameda County.

  • Delicious food & drink at the Tailgate included!

The 10th Annual Wheels for Meals Ride is Saturday, October 26 at Shadow Cliffs Regional Park in Pleasanton! 

Register to ride a 15, 35, or 70-Mile Route and help us raise $180,000 - equivalent to 20,000 nutritious meals for homebound seniors. 

There will be a family-friendly post-ride celebration at the finish line, with live music, gourmet BBQ, kids bike rodeo, video game trailer, meditation bus, massage booth, vendors, and much more!!

Due to simultaneous funding cuts and an ever-increasing need, Spectrum, for the first time, has had to institute a waiting list for our Meals on Wheels program.
